Work Experience

Capgemini – IT Helpdesk Associate

At Capgemini, I worked as an IT Helpdesk Associate, where I used a variety of tools and software to troubleshoot complex technical issues, from networking challenges to hardware failures. I generated daily reports based on user call data, which management used to identify team performance gaps and areas for improvement. Additionally, I reviewed the work of fellow team members to ensure adherence to quality standards, contributing to a high-performing, customer-focused support environment.

ADTRAN – Junior Developer

At ADTRAN, I worked as a Junior Developer, contributing to projects like memory testing, app development, and machine learning within a collaborative team environment. I gathered user feedback on program functionality, learned the codebase, wrote and maintained code, and conducted development tests. I also monitored the technical performance of internal systems, assisted with software design, and supported the development team by addressing technical requests and authoring reports, ensuring smooth project execution and continuous improvement.

The projects that I worked on included creating unit tests and fixing memory leaks within a large codebase, AI image recognition within a mobile app, and developing bash scripts.

The image below is a successful test of the model I used during my AI training which I had learn to detect Xbox controllers from different angles.

Data Annotations – Independent Contractor

At Data Annotations, I contributed to refining AI systems by analyzing and labeling data that directly impacts model performance. My role has often involved tasks like deciding between two AI-generated responses, choosing whether a chatbot impersonation stays true to its intended personality. I also have written both sides of AI conversations, like when users ask the AI to brainstorm ideas or craft short stories. Additionally, I help test AI systems by identifying vulnerabilities, such as attempts to trick the AI into generating unapproved content, ensuring ethical and high-quality outputs. This hands-on work directly supports the development of smarter, more reliable AI technologies.
